2013 SGV Comic Book Expo

A three part event that will feature an art gallery, animation exhibition, as well as independent comic book creators and illustrators exhibiting, participating in panels and workshops!
This free event will take place in June 2013 at the Baldwin Park Arts & Recreation Center. A comic book inspired art exhibition will feature leading into the Expo in mid June and close in early August. The art exhibition will be curated by Grasiela Rodriguez, Nuvein Advisory Member, and member of the Pomona Arts Colony Association. A independent animators exhibition and screening showcase will curated by Jim Lujan, former Nuvein Advisory, and award winning indie animator, whose works have featured at the 909 Film Festival, REEL Independent Film Festival, and others. A series of panels and workshops by independent SGV comic book creators, illustrators, and artists will be coordinated by Javier Hernandez, Nuvein Executive Board Member, co-creator of the Dia de Los Muertos event in El Monte, and independent comic book artist known for his creation of 'El Muerto - The Aztec Zombie' comic and subsequent film adaptation. |

Free Comic Book Day 2013
We had an AMAZING time at 4 Color Fantasies free comic book day event!
The event was incredibly organized and we were treated like rock stars. We would like to thank Chris Brady and everyone at 4 Color Fantasies who helped to put on this event. Please go there and support this comic book shop they are super friendly!
